ABOUT SUMMER 2021 INTERNSHIPS

Kendo Brands Summer Internship is a paid, 8 week program where you will be focused on an assigned project, while being introduced to and fully integrated into the daily activities of your team. For Summer 2021, our program will be 100% virtual. You will get the opportunity to explore a department and learn what it is like to develop a career at a beauty brand incubator. Our internships will include exposure to senior leadership in the Kendo organization and regular check-ins on internship status. Interns will also get an opportunity to learn about LVMH and how Kendo fits into the LVMH family.

Applications for the Kendo Summer Internship Program will be open from April 1 – April 16. Applications will close on April 16 at 5 pm PT. Qualified candidates must be rising juniors or seniors, or no more than one year post graduation. You must be legally authorized to work in the US. Kendo’s internships will be a fulltime 8 week program. Candidates must be available to work either June 7 – July 30 or June 28 – August 20.


Summary:

Support with Data Integrity, work with cross functional teams to obtain data to support Inventory reporting. Also, to include support with weekly, and monthly requests for on hands from vendors related to product information management.

Responsibilities:

Including but not limited to:

  • Packing Group maintenance 
    1. Working with Ecomm teams to help identify packing group upon Ecomm only sku creation.
    2. Follow up with procurement partners once reporting related to Packing Group reporting updates, (cadence is every other month).
  • Identify any missing cost(Best Standard Cost) in reporting.
    1. Work with Master Data and Price Master Data.
    2. Gather data on new skus and older skus that are missing.
  • Vendor compliance 
    1. Following up with on hands
      • Vendor compliance for missing skus on on hand reporting.
        • IE vendor is not providing correct skus on hand, research within AX (Product Information Management).
      • Saving data into on hand files.
  • Support with Sampling in CM locations, making sure we are following up with procurement to ensure all sampling is consumed or flagged to be destroyed.
    1. Includes nonsellables scrap
    2. Packettes
    3. Bulk for sampling
    4. Flag and research with procurement on timing and completed projects to ensure that we are disposing all scrap related to sampling related.
  • Support with DocuSign’s related to quality issues
    1. Vendors have been asked to make note in on hands quality related issues and reasoning.
    2. Write off out of CM quarantine locations
      • Damaged product not of first quality
      • Packing errors on secondary components (not related to RTV or rework projects)

Requirements:

  • Rising  junior or senior, or class of 2020 or 2021 graduate, preferably in Supply Chain or related field
  • Ability to multi-task with excellent follow-through and task completion
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Optimistic and can-do attitude to help push for resolutions
  • Attention to detail and willingness to jump in for support with trouble shooting issues as they arise
  • Strong team player, ability to work with diverse cross-functional teams
  • Creative problem solver with sense of curiosity; able to work independently to produce quality results
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
