The salary range for this position is $90,134 - $112,668 based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. Kendo Brands has a hybrid work model with three days in office and two days remote each week.
POSITION SUMMARY
Supports the Creative Director and Digital Design Director with dynamic digital creative for desktop and mobile that delivers on the brand experience. Partnering in planning, managing and delivering strategic marketing campaigns from concept through execution. Will be developing marketing emails, static and animated paid social ads and digital banners, and banners and site assets for FentyBeauty.com, FentySkin.com and Sephora.com.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports the Creative Director and Digital Design Director in creating website assets, emails, paid social, and banners for retailers and affiliate partners
- Supports the Digital Design Director in the creation and maintenance of digital style guides for each brand
- Handles minor retouching for product images to customize them for new banner specs and placements
- Acts as the liaison between the digital creative team and the e-commerce team to ensure design consistency across all touchpoints
- Develops pixel-perfect, highly innovative, refined digital assets under fast-paced timelines
- Delivers design projects on time with polished execution
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of typography, photography, graphic design and digital design; ensures all assets adhere to brand guidelines
- Owns presentation of assigned projects to cross functional teams for feedback and final approval
- Routinely collaborates with Brand Management, Marketing, Program Management and E-Commerce teams
- Supports Digital Design Director and team in producing final files for release, with careful consideration for proper digital file types and compressing files for web
REQUIREMENTS
- College degree; BA or BFA with a focus on Graphic Design, Communications Design, or UX/UI or equivalent experience preferred
- 5–7 years of design experience in digital design focused on one or more of the following: E-Commerce web design, UX/UI, paid social, emails, and/or responsive design for web (mobile and desktop)
- Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite on Mac Platform (especially Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator)
- Proficiency designing web pages in Figma
- Must be comfortable with minor retouching to customize images to fit digital promotions (edit product background colors, cut out product components, remove or combine products, etc)
- Strong understanding of web UI standards, grid system, responsive design frameworks
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS—the possibilities and limitations
- Understanding of digital trends and best practices for responsive web design, marketing emails, paid social, and digital banners
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ease and polish in presenting in a variety of settings: small/large groups, managers, formal presentations
- Solid organizational skills, detail-oriented; time management skills, ability to juggle priorities
- Strong relationship-building skills; ability to work with a variety of people in various disciplines
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment and meet very tight deadlines
