POSITION SUMMARY

Creates inspiring and strategic marketing campaigns across all media based on approved creative concepts including preparing and relasing print ready files. Develops advertising, in-store animations, collateral, digital and video assets.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports Creative Director and Senior Art Director providing creative solutions that meet business objectives
  • Develops marketing vehicles including, but not limited to: in-store animations, advertising, collateral, education materials, digital assets and videos based on approved direction
  • Drives design projects managing & executing on time and within budget with the highest quality of standards
  • Demonstrates solid understanding of typography, photography, graphic design and environmental design; ensures all assets adhere to brand guidelines
  • Owns presentation of design concepts to cross functional teams for feedback and final approval
  • Manages final production stages; develops final mechanical for routing and releases to print vendor/publication
  • Develops strong partnerships with Brand Management, Marketing, Program Management and Content teams

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • College degree; BA or BFA preferred
  • 3-5 years of design experience
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite on Mac Platform
  • Agency or retail experience preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ease and polish in presenting at executive level, and in a variety of settings: small/large groups, direct reports, managers, formal presentations
  • Solid organizational skills, detail-oriented; time management skills, ability to juggle priorities
  • Strong relationship-building skills; ability to work with a variety of people in various disciplines
  • Understanding of current fashion and beauty trends
  • Understanding of environmental graphics
  • Understanding of production process
  • Ability to work in a very fast paced environment and meet very tight deadlines
  • The drive to excel and succeed; self-motivated
  • Passion for beauty and retail
