POSITION SUMMARY

The North America Brand Management Coordinator (Marc Jacobs Beauty) will be responsible for assisting the team in all brand efforts. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to meet tight deadlines, and creative problem solving skills.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate event agendas for global makeup artist
  • Prepare reports and analyses to be used by brand management and ad hoc projects as needed
  • Assist in developing brand presentations, collateral and product education material
  • Maintain and update assortment files and marketing calendars
  • Support seasonal fixturing updates with direction from Brand Manager
  • Manage new product launch handoff process and assets
  • Monitor channel ecommerce product accuracy (positioning, prices, inventory)
  • Maintain effective communication with various departments and channels: Education, Marketing, Product Development, Inventory, retail counterparts
  • Maintain and meet deadlines on multiple, concurrent projects
  • Conduct competitive and trend research for key markets and categories
  • Communicate brand assets to channel partners
  • Sample management - Track, organize and distribute product comps to internal and external teams
  • Miscellaneous administrative tasks including expense reports, booking travel, etc.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree required plus 1-2 years of brand or merchandising/buying experience, preferably in retail, beauty/fashion
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to adapt in an often-changing environment
