POSITION SUMMARY

The Brand Manager will be responsible in driving the North America business for KVD Vegan Beauty. This individual is a business driver, who leads merchandising, activation, and develops best in class partnerships with NA retailers to successfully deliver against brand financial goals. The role requires strong channel management, leadership, and communication skills to deliver day to day business management responsibilities. The Brand Manager will report to the Senior Brand Manager of North America.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Channel Management & Activation

  • Drive short and long-terms strategies for North America to meet and exceed company objectives; partner with a multitude of cross-functional partners to successfully execute
  • Build best in class partnership with retail partners to effectively maximize working relationships and deliver on sales goals
  • Build strong and effective relationships with internal teams to bring to life 360 activations (global brand, inventory planning, marketing, education, creative, and operations)
  • Be a brand advocate internally & externally pitching to further sales goals
  • Own channel obsolescence strategy to minimize inventory liability
  • Assist in presentation preparation and on-going support for management meetings

Product Merchandising

  • Drive in-store visual merchandising; optimize for sales performance while balancing brand vision, client experience, and VM budget
  • Manage channel assortments to maximize productivity and minimize inventory liability

Reporting & Analyses

  • Provide bi-weekly sales recaps, ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed
  • Be in-tuned with the beauty retailer landscape and identify opportunities to further NA business


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of related business experience, color cosmetics experience preferred but not required
  • Previous exposure to the North America market and/or Merchandising, Buying, or Account Management experience a strong plus
  • Must demonstrate strong strategic, creative, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Thrives in an environment that is fast-paced, rapidly changing, and client service-oriented
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills; able to handle multiple priorities and work within a matrixed organization
  • Highest level of professionalism at all times; calm under pressure
  • Team player
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
