The Kendo house of brands currently includes: Bite Beauty, KVD Vegan Beauty, Marc Jacobs Beauty, Ole Henriksen, Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin.


The Associate Manager will support the management of procurement related activities for a specific Kendo brand and product line. Collaborate with internal partners and vendors to deliver on time and quality product, which will include turnkey and non-turnkey SKU’s. Monitor, track, and problem solve to support new product launches, replenishment of core SKU’s, brands’ performance goals, as well as company’s growth.



  • Key contact for vendors, focused on building strong collaborative vendor relationships
  • Follow up with vendors daily/weekly regarding order status for both newness and replenishment purchase orders; actively track and maintain updates for all open purchase orders (PO’s) in ERP system; inform internal teams of any delivery changes in a timely manner
  • Mitigate delivery risk through problem solving
  • Review monthly stock status with Inventory Planning team to understand and execute procurement of demand  to support fulfillment and SLA to channels
  • Procure newness and replenishment demand for both turnkey and non-turnkey products; execute through ERP system, MRP and Excel Buy Plan management
    • For non-turn key products; insure components and packaging arrive at filler/assembler in a timely manner for execution to meet in DC demand date
  • Manage product flows inside/outside of ERP system, including procurement, production orders, kitting projects, rework orders, transferring of goods, and RTV’s as needed
  • Insure ERP system is current and accurate with the most up-to-date PO and Product information
  • Create and maintain part numbers and Bills of Materials (BOMs) in ERP system
  • Post receipts for delivery of components at Third Party warehouses/Vendors
  • Partner with distribution team to resolve receiving issues
  • Review “in transit” order status through Expeditors Order Management program; reconcile booking errors and issue booking approvals as needed
  • Attend and participate in vendor, brand, and operational meetings
  • Support manager in overseeing new product launch timeline and replenishment lead time negotiation
  • Manage additional projects that promotes process improvement and product management



  • 2+ years production or purchasing experience in a fast-paced retail environment. Cosmetics, Personal Care, or Health & Beauty backgrounds preferred.
  • Experience working with supplier vendors in both a turnkey and non-turnkey environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and data integrity
  • Demonstrated potential in problem solving, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, often-changing environment
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ability to deliver strong, polished, effective PowerPoint presentations
