New Business Account Executive

JobTarget is a Connecticut-based Internet company that focuses on the job search and recruitment space.  Our technology helps companies market their job openings to specific audiences of talent.  For the past 5 years in a row, we have been named to the Connecticut Technology Council’s Tech Top 40 – we’ve grown 600% since 2007!  JobTarget is about 250 people spanning offices in New London and Norwalk, CT; London, UK and Cebu City, PHI. 

We are looking for a New Business Account Executive to help us continue our strong growth. 

Responsibilities:

  • Sell our recruitment products and services to employers
  • Effectively penetrate enterprise accounts and establish new business sales relationships via telephone
  • Manage a defined territory and develop relationships within that territory
  • Meet and exceed all individual quotas for sales through cold-calling
  • Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales projections
  • Periodically travel to trade shows and events to promote and attract new employers to our service

Requirements:

  • 3+ years new business / hunting sales experience
  • Must be comfortable selling in a 100% new business sales role
  • Excellent telephone skills; comfortable making 75+ cold calls daily
  • Ability to engage, cultivate and close new business
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
