Manager, Job Board Software Sales

Responsibilities:

  • Lead JobTarget’s UK and European sales and business development efforts to expand the penetration of industry-leading niche job board products and services within those territories
  • Research and analyze economic and market conditions and establish a sales plan
  • Research and identify qualified prospects with a focus on professional and trade associations and publishers
  • Conduct marketing and sales outreach to create opportunities
  • Present to prospects by clearly articulating sales vision, building business case and demoing hosted software
  • Negotiate and close deals to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets
  • Formulate long-range plans to guide future sales growth across all product lines
  • Liaise with Services team to align proper support for clients
  • Identify market needs and provide feedback to Product Management team to guide product development
  • Attend and/or present at trade shows and meetings

Requirements:

  • 3 - 5+ years experience in sales or business development, ideally in software or recruitment
  • Highly motivated and competitive with strong initiative
  • Proven track record of high performance in a sales role with little supervision
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills
  • Solid understanding of online media and related technologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong reporting and organizational skills, strategic thinker and problem solver
  • Knowledge of the UK association space preferred
