IT Help Desk

Information Technology | Toronto, Canada | Full Time

Job Description



Our client is looking for a IT help desk professional to add to their team! 


Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical support and customer service.
  • Working with other members of the IT organization to ensure timely resolution of employee issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware problems on behalf of employees
  • Performs moves/adds/changes to equipment (computer hardware, cables)
  • Develop training materials and procedures, and/or train users in the proper use of hardware and software.
  • Provide on-call, off-hours and weekend support as assigned to support the staff

Preferred Skills:

  • 2-4 years of experience
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, able to effectively troubleshoot issues remotely
  • Results-focused and team-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Customer service oriented including strong communication skills
  • Troubleshooting experience on Macs and Windows platforms greatly desired
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook in an Exchange environment
  • Experience supporting mobile devices

 Nice to have skills:

  • Experience supporting software systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows
  • Computer support
  • User Training Experience
