Jennifer Miller is a rapidly growing boutique jewelry company, headquartered on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. We currently have 5 boutiques: Upper East Side, Southampton NY, East Hampton NY, Palm Beach Florida and Soutbeach Miami. Jennifer Miller specializes in fine and faux jewelry and accessories for the chicest women in the world!
We are looking for an Inventory and Purchasing Coordinator to join our Corporate Office team. This person would be responsible for the following:
-Placing purchase orders (re-orders and special orders) with vendors and designers bi weekly.
-Receiving, entering, photographing and managing inventory into the company Inventory/POS system and website.
-Transferring and contributing to the allocation and distribution of merchandise to all stores.
-Managing and maintaining correspondences with outside parties including clients, vendors, and designers as needed
-Ensuring all special order ETA’s are being followed up on and met.
-Managing the inventory flow of goods from the various stages.
-Running sales reports and make recommendations.
-Assisting with improving inventory control and create new operating systems.
-Assisting with the maintenance of the inventory and vendor databases.
-Assisting with shipping and receiving all inbound and outbound shipments.
Approving all merchandise charges for invoices and merchandise.
This position requires previous inventory experience- both entering inventory into an inventory database as well as creating purchase orders.
Must have good knowledge of Excel, Photoshop, Microsoft Outlook, and Inventory Database programs.
The candidate must be able to 9-6 Mondays through Fridays.
Must have between 2 and 5 years experience in a comparable role.
Knowledge of jewelry is a plus. Knowledge of Edge POS and Inventory Database a plus.
