We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, well-organized team player to join our Product team as a Training Curriculum Development Manager.
As the Training Curriculum Development Manager, you will be responsible for the strategy, planning, design, development, and maintenance of product training courses that enable customers, partners, and employees to effectively use, administer, and configure Janrain’s Identity Cloud services.
You will be developing content for Janrain University, the premier destination for online and in-classroom learning about the Janrain Identity Cloud. Janrain University includes on-boarding and orientation content for all Janrain services, including Authentication, Authorization, Single Sign On, Cloud Directory, Data Integrations, and more. Curriculum content includes technical orientation, how-to guides, and certification courses to demonstrate expertise in managing various Janrain products.
To be successful in this role, you will need to develop a deep understanding of how to use Janrain’s products and services; synthesize that knowledge into easy-to-use, enjoyable, and high-value courses; and maintain a backlog for new collateral development that is aligned with the organization.
Training Offering Strategy and Roadmap
- Architect and build a portfolio of training services aligned to Janrain’s business priorities.
- Work cross-functionally with Janrain product teams, and customer facing groups (Professional Services, Customer Success, Technical Support, and Solution Engineering) to determine learning requirements and develop measurable learning objectives that support job enablement for the appropriate personas.
Janrain University - Build & Manage LMS
Lead all aspects of Janrain University to include the:
Creation of tools, processes, standards, and procedures to support the development and maintenance of Janrain Identity Cloud Training.
Training development team (full time employee/contractor mix) establishment and management.
Management of training project scope, scheduling, resourcing, and quality assurance.
Engineering of relevant, immersive learning experiences that exceeds expectations and ensures the attainment of stated learning outcomes.
- Incorporate learner knowledge and skill assessments (e.g. training module exams/tests) into the training curriculum.
Bachelor’s degree in Education; Instructional Design; Communications; Organizational Development; Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 6+years as training curriculum developer
Minimum 1+ year of leadership experience managing one or more training specialists
Demonstrated ability to build technical understanding and develop related content quickly
Experience with instructional design techniques, architecture, and curriculum
