Jana is seeking a scrappy, entrepreneurial, and data-driven Vice President of Product Marketing and Growth.  You'll bring your creativity and expertise in storytelling, product marketing, community-building, and user-acquisition to drive substantial growth and propel Jana to its goal of providing free internet for the next billion people while also building a billion dollar company.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure mCent Browser’s value proposition is easily understood and resonates with new and prospective users globally.

  • Develop and lead both the Browser’s consumer acquisition strategy and the implementation of the performance-marketing plan.

  • Lead all branding and communication initiatives, including positioning and messaging, content strategy and creation, creative, public relations, corporate communication, social media, and community building.

  • Specify, launch, and manage effective performance-marketing programs in a data-driven way.

  • Increase the lifetime value of our users through Customer Lifecycle Management using push notifications and in-app messaging.

  • Attract, hire, train, mentor, and lead team members to achieve their personal best.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of successful experience leading consumer marketing organizations.

  • Experience working in a global team and collaborating across multiple developing markets.

  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision making.

  • A proven track record of building teams and growing user bases meaningfully.

  • Proven ability to understand the user life cycle.

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

  • BA/BS degree. Past experience in highly analytical work, such as investment banking, consulting, finance, economics, etc.
