Summary

The Media Production Coordinator is responsible for the tracking of all assets being created for media projects in-house, as well as those being outsourced.  They will be responsible for overseeing each stage of development (concept, pre-production, production, post-production, and integration) and will assist the Supervisor and Director in making sure all assets are approved timely and delivered on schedule.  This role requires a multidisciplined individual who’s skills can be utilized in many ways within ITEC.

Essential Job Functions

  • Schedule, organize, record, and manage dailies and review meetings
  • Create the call sheet and daily schedule, ensuring that dailies, client meetings, supervisor walkthroughs, production meetings, and other priorities are effectively planned and managed
  • Oversees daily operations of production team
  • Coordinate the planning of delivery milestones
  • Keep artists and supervisors up to date with pertinent information (client notes, shot changes, and modifications)
  • Obtain quotes and estimates and help produce RFPs for vendors
  • Assist in scheduling outside vendors (shoots, wardrobe, writers)
  • Work with Director and Supervisors to meet all budget, schedule and quality goals

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in film, art, production, communications or related field or equivalent
  • 3+ years experience in media production management or coordination role in the themed entertainment industry or similar Film/Broadcast experience
  • Working experience producing high-end CG films

Preferred Qualifications

  • Accustomed to working on confidential projects for extended periods of time
  • Experience casting talent and working with agencies
  • Experience with stereoscopic CG production and terminology
  • Experience with 3D (stereo) video shoots
  • Experience with green screen shoots and compositing requirements
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Experience with production tacking software (FTrack, Shotgun)

Travel/Availability

  • Travel outside of the office is required
  • Must have a valid passport
  • Must be able to work overtime, as needed

Physical Requirements

Employee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Will also be required to bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and operate office machinery. Must be able to lift up to thirty pounds.  Travel outside the office, and the United States is possible.
