The Electrical Technician II has experience with the operation, calibration, and inspection of control systems.  This role also maintains and repairs all electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems and sub-systems associated with controls, including component repair, replacement, and troubleshooting.  


  • Lay out and assemble basic electrical circuits and assemblies
  • Lay out and assemble machines based on drawings and detailed verbal instruction
  • Perform basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and provide feedback to Engineering
  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints, diagrams, and schematic
  • Resolve issues during assembly, testing of equipment, tools and projects alongside Engineering
  • Compliant with safety practices
  • Works under supervision of the Fabrication Manager with the ability to work independently on certain manufacturing and installation tasks
  • Other duties as assigned


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Technical 2-yr degree preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Brady ID/Labeling Software is a plus
  • Famililar with soldering
  • Excellent troubleshooting and attention to detail skills
  • Domestic US and International travel may be required
  • Must be able to obtain a valid Passport and Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Card)
