Our eye and lip patches, sheet masks and mud masks are loved by customers and are currently sold at major department stores (Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom etc.) and specialty beauty stores (Blue Mercury, ULTA etc.).  We have ambitious growth goals for the years ahead, and great communications and content will play a key role.

About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, Content Creator to join our Marketing team. You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging content, for both online and offline mediums. You will be responsible for incorporating brand strategy and product positioning into thoughtful content pieces. You will collaborate with the rest of the marketing team to develop concepts and campaigns. You must be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends, have excellent communication skills, and be able to express the brand’s views creatively and effectively. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop content that captures the brand voice of Patchology in an engaging and concise way and aligns with brand guidelines
  • Write content for the websites, product packaging, marketing emails, blog posts, print assets, promotional assets, video scripts, among other copy needs
  • Develop and maintain marketing content calendar to be executed across our channels
  • Drive the content creation process from idea to execution of the final product
  • Work with our marketing and sales teams to maintain a consistent creative strategy across each campaign, product, or promotion
  • Work with digital marketing to optimize content based on analytics, and make recommendations to improve performance
  • Curate video and photography assets to be used within content pieces
  • Work with design and social team to shoot photography and video to be used in content pieces
  • Research relevant trends, topics, and top searched keywords to support SEO
  • Brainstorm and ideate with designers and other team members
  • Support strategies to drive site performance and KPI results through creative content
  • Collaborate with other teams, including marketing, product, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, beauty, and skincare
  • Be open to feedback and be able to understand how to translate feedback into a final asset that achieves our goals

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of digital/marketing/traditional content creation experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent practical experience
  • Knowledge of copywriting best practices
  • Experience writing for a specific brand (in-house, freelance, or agency) across multiple mediums
  • Responsive to feedback
  • Resourceful and adaptable
  • Strong project management and organizational skills are necessary
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to handle a number of projects simultaneously
  • Strong portfolio that showcases your skills and breadth of projects
