Sr. Accountant – Hybrid – FULL-TIME - GOVCON EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Position Description

Intelligence Federal is a fast-growing government contracting company seeking a Sr. Accountant who is technically proficient, competent, and friendly.

JOB DUTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Perform general ledger accounting activities including journal entries, account and balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, reclasses, and month-end close support.

• Responsible for invoicing, cash application, billing activities, and the resolution of discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.

• Handle full AR lifecycle for fixed-price, T&M, and CPFF contracts.

• Process semi-monthly, multi-state payroll and support labor-related accounting, ensuring accurate postings, reconciliations, and coordination between timekeeping, billing, and the general ledger.

• GAAP Financial Reporting, documentation, and internal control.

• Preformed GSA invoicing and Industrial Funding FEE (IFF) Reporting.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of Five (5) years of full cycle, GovCon accounting experience.

• Experience with government project set-up required.

• Experience using QuickBooks on-line required.
