Document Review & Decision Writing Attorney

Legal | Fully Remote | Full Time | From $75,000 to $85,000 per year

Job Description

Intelligence Federal is a fast-growing federal contracting company seeking early career Document Review & Decision Writing Attorneys to support a federal government agency. This is a full time, fully remote position.

This is a seven (7) to twelve (12) month contract. For the duration of the contract, this is a full-time position and eligible for benefits through Intelligence Federal. Our company was recently voted one of the 2024 Best Places to Work in Washington, DC by the Washington Business Journal!

Document Review Attorney – Government Contractor

JOB DUTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • · Responsible for large case document review
  • · Review case files and conduct fact finding review
  • · Perform research for the preparation of legal opinions
  • · Perform legal analysis and draft proper decision letters
  • · Identify and categorize relevant records, including developing statistics and tabulations to provide leads and supportive data for case litigation.

SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL

  • · Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • · Must be authorized to work in the US.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS & SELECTION CRITERIA

  • · Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be an attorney barred in good standing in a US State or territory.
  • · Minimum of two (2) years of legal experience in a federal government setting
  • · Minimum of two (2) years of legal decision writing experience
  • · Experience using document review software including Relativity, EverLaw, and Sharepoint.
  • · Experience with Salesforce a plus
  • · Ability to work well within groups handling a large volume of work.
