Carry out administrative responsibilities (non-marketing) on behalf of business unit. Support General Manager, Business Unit. Represent business unit in communication and correspondence with external contacts.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

  • Review

  • Scanning & filing

  • Distribute for payment

  • Set up new accounts

  • Prepare check requests and send to Integrity for payment


Commission Statements

  • Distribute for scanning and filing

  • Carrier distributions and compile for 2017 & 2018


Case Management

  • Keep list of application issues to send to insurance carriers

  • Conference calls with carriers for New Business & Customer Service

  • New Business Status and follow ups

    • Scrub and submit New Business Applicatins

    • New Business Status calls

    • PASS alarms

    • AIM Status E-mail Inbx – Review, distribute if applicable, call or e-mail agent, create alarms in PASS

  • Coordinate with Integrity and CT Corp for license renewals, corporate filings

  • Agency Contracting


Other Duties

  • Open & distribute mail

  • Carry out Bank Deposit every Friday - Fill out Deposit slips and copy checks

  • Change bank information for commission deposits

  • AIM Carrier News Inbox - Review, distribute as appropriate and file

  • E-Applications - Review, submit or contact agent

  • Troubleshoot problem cases for agents

  • Agent licensing (only a few states left)



  • Minimum of 5 years of experience required

  • Must have experience with responsibilities listed above

  • Ability to maintain high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information

  • Effective time management, multi-tasking, and organization skills * Problem solving, critical analysis, and decision-making skills are essential

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are critical (grammatically proficient)

  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point

  • Exceptional people skills--strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are a must

  • Ideal candidate must be very high energy with a positive, can-do attitude and be a proactive self-starter.



  • High School Diploma required

  • 4-year college degree (Business or Commerce preferred)
