The Technical Project Manager (TPM) is responsible for the overall management and delivery of various implementation projects. The TPM works alongside of a team composed of Solutions Engineers, Account Executives, and Technical Support Engineers and has the overall responsibility to drive the completed project for the customer.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate through email, over the phone, and in-person to assure customer and Instart Logic are in lock step through every stage of partnership.  

  • Coordinate Instart Logic resources to execute customer activations; act as main point of contact both internally within Instart Logic as well as with the customer team.

  • Work proactively with various internal subject matter experts to record, analyze and correct any performance and or configuration related issues during customer engagements.

  • Using insights from prior customer engagements, Technical Project Managers will be expected to help improve existing processes and add to the list of best practices, through internal cross-departmental collaboration.

  • Active participation in knowledge creation and sharing internal to the team and wider audience.

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for product/service offerings, work with product management to ensure new services and features are both strategically and seamlessly integrated for new and prospective customers.

  • Communicate internally both verbally and through email to report on project performance(deliverables, action items, progress, etc.)

  • Establish expected timeline for project completion both internally with the Instart Logic team and externally with the customer team to ensure proper alignment of expectations.

  • Maintain/update a list of active projects and keep key stakeholders informed using 3rd party tools like SFDC, Zendesk, JIRA, Google Documents etc. as well as project management software like SmartSheet.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 2+ years experience in technical support, engineering, IT or project management working with Internet technologies

  • A balance of business, functional, and technical experience

  • Background in a technology related field is a plus

  • Strong communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management/across multiple departments in order to help field sales teams drive/shorten the sales cycle, resolve customer escalations, provide product feedback, etc.
