Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, offices, common areas, restrooms, and designated facilities.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and maintain floors and surfaces.

• Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish towels and guest supplies when assigned.

• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, fixtures, furniture, and equipment.

• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste according to facility procedures.

• Restock cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other necessary materials.

• Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas.

• Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and property damage.

• Follow established cleaning schedules, sanitation procedures, and safety guidelines.

• Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of guests, residents, patients, and clients.

• Complete assigned tasks within established timeframes while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not always required.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Professional attitude and customer-service-oriented approach.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout a shift.

• Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment as required by the assignment.

• Willingness to follow workplace safety and chemical-handling procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hotel or resort housekeeping experience.

• Healthcare or medical facility cleaning experience.

• Commercial janitorial or custodial experience.

• Knowledge of proper cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitation practices.

• Experience using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies.
