Inovexus is a cross-border Accelerator focusing on French startups, with a unique approach on enhancing key factors enabling cross-border funding.
Based on recent key strategic partnership and investor coming on board, Inovexus is pivoting towards becoming the largest cross-border acceleration fund in France. Inovexus is ideally positioned to bridge the vibrant FrenchTech ecosystem with the US VC industry. As part of this expansion, Inovexus is looking to recruit an Account Executive Director, a key role, based in France.
You will spend your days interfacing with the accelerator leadership team of mentors, working with early-stage startup founders and navigating cross-functionally to enable startups to realize success. This is a unique opportunity to be plugged into the center of the startup ecosystem, and to lead it.
As Account Executive Director, you will be responsible for the integration of strategy into the acceleration program and provide operational leadership to the acceleration team. You will monitor and control the execution of plans throughout the lifecycle of startups in the program from sourcing and due diligence to operational management and business tuning, while at the same time identifying and communicating issues and risks and developing mitigation plans.
We are seeking a team member who has founded a company, ideally gone through an accelerator program and who gets excited about working with and mentoring early-stage startup founders day-in and day-out. This role will report to the CEO.
Build and manage the Account Executive team
Help build and manage the acceleration program to support early stage startups on behalf of Inovexus
Lead the operations team in helping drive overall strategy for the acceleration program
Work closely with portfolio companies to ensure that they are successful in the program by providing technical resources, business mentorship and coordination efforts
Execute strategic initiatives for Inovexus, while working with key internal stakeholders
Planning, scheduling, tracking milestones for the acceleration program
Provide scenario planning to support robust decision making through in-depth analysis of program activities and KPIs
Actively utilize internal processes to manage reporting, tracking and goal attainment for the startup teams
Prepare and deliver data-driven reviews to senior management about progress, achievements and roadblocks
Serve as the primary eyes and ears for Inovexus to the startup community
Manage operations managers / associates both in France and in the US
Lead preparation of documents including detailed reports, timelines and slide decks for key governance meetings including meetings to decide on milestones and decision points
Manage the content creation developed in-house for the program
Qualifications and required experience
8-10 years of relevant experience in a VC / startup ecosystem, ideally having led an accelerator or incubator
Minimum 3-5 years of management experience with strong leadership and management skills
Solid network within the French Tech ecosystem
Impeccable knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques
Good understanding of the wider objectives of the program
Ability to work positively with a wide range of individuals involved in program management
Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems
Fluent in English and French
