Job Description


Innovation Department’s internship program provides the unique opportunity to gain marketing experience by taking ownership of multiple brands’ partnership efforts and/or social media accounts. You will be exposed to many different aspects of early stage startup companies and you’ll be able to work as an integrated member of the team.

You’ll have the chance to give your input on and execute various types of content, as well as suggest new ideas geared towards website testing and establishing new revenue channels. You’ll get to be a part of our team and play a big role in establishing and developing the voice of our portfolio brands. You will get to work in an environment where learning and growth are always prioritized.

You’re currently enrolled in an undergraduate program. You are organized, highly motivated, and have excellent communication skills.

You have an understanding of social media, you are web-savvy, and you’re able to multitask. You thrive in fast-paced environments.

You’re creative and ready to use your creativity to not only produce content, but to pitch and help work on ideas for new initiatives, optimizing our sites, and partnership marketing efforts.

You love working in an open, social environment, where team breakfast meetings, happy hours, and rounds of office ping pong are regular occurrences.  



  • Assist with our affiliate and influencer marketing program. Identify compatible targets and help manage the promotional efforts and communication with partners.
  • Monitor website performance and draw insights to guide future site optimization tests.
  • Assist with partnership marketing efforts.
  • Support marketing efforts via email and social media for portfolio companies.
  • Compile and organize key performance metrics for digital marketing efforts.
  • Help with social media strategy, execution as well as influencer outreach.
  • Participate in content planning and various strategy/brainstorm sessions.
  • Perform ad hoc research assignments.

During this internship, each intern will be invited to respective team meetings and have full access to the teams as resources. Each Monday, we have an Innovation Department full team meeting to understand what each team member is focused on for the week. Additionally, we discuss recent innovations and failures that we have seen and can learn from. Working at a startup, especially across multiple brands at the same time, is a highly unique and valuable learning experience. This internship offers a daily stipend.

DojoMojo is a partnership marketing SaaS startup. It’s a platform for brands to engage with other brands and set up giveaway campaigns. DojoMojo makes it easy for brands to grow their email lists, boost their social media engagement, and generate sales through targeted marketing campaigns.

Valyrian Media is a set of niche newsletters that send out to their email lists on a weekly basis. Topics include fashion, gaming, travel, food and more.
