Utilization Review Nurse (RN)
Work Location: Albuquerque, NM

InGenesis has an exciting opportunity available for a Utilization Review Nurse (RN) to come work with our client located in Albuquerque, NM. As the UR Nurse, you’ll work behind the scenes to maximize cost efficiency and quality various services by reviewing criteria to validate medical necessity/appropriateness.

Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions(including but not limited to)

• Investigate assigned cases.

• Obtain and organizes clinical documents.

• Determine appropriate review level.

• Prepare case review summaries.

• Perform other duties as necessary or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of New Mexico

• 2+ years’ Case Management or Utilization Review experience in managed care or inpatient setting.

• Strong communication skills (written/oral).

• Excellent computer skills.
