Sr. Associate Dean for Academic Affairs

Job Summary/Description
InGenesis seeks a Sr. Associate Dean for Academic Affairs with demonstrated cultural sensitivity, commitment to promoting diversity and that ability to bring people together to achieve a worthwhile mission with a strong track record as an educational scholar and superior clinician, and eligible for appointment at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to)
• Develop and lead team of senior educators that drive the mission of the DO, MBS and MPH programs
• Lead the continued development and implementation of the University curriculum
• Develop and oversee the annual budget for units under the direct supervision and assist the Dean in development of plans for allocation of funds, positions and assurance of budget efficiencies with Academic affairs
• Work closely and collaboratively with Curriculum Directors, Assistant Deans, Associate Deans, Faculty and Staff
• Responsible for the maintenance and update of the undergraduate medical education policies and procedures
• Collaborate with the Associate Provost of Academic Affairs and Institutional Effectiveness to ensure the University exceeds all accreditation requirements and fulfills the strategic plan initiatives

Minimum Qualifications
• DO degree from a COCA accredited osteopathic medical school
• Board certification in specialty
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with demonstrated success in medical education administration and curricular development and implementation
• Strong track record as an educational scholar and superior clinician – educator
• Significant administrative and leadership experience in medical education programming and development
• A recognized presence in medical education programs
