Sr. Applications Systems Analyst
Work Location: Houston TX

Job Summary/Description
Function formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop and modify moderately complex information systems. Scope Impacts the proper design and utilization of applications/systems throughout the institution.

Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to)
• Formulates and defines system scope and objectives based on user needs.
• Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results.
• Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
• Designs programs and performs coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
• Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.
• Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis activities.
• Must understand basic Information Technology (IT) architectural/infrastructural concepts.
• May use CASE tools.
• Must be able to prepare information for project presentations.
• May act as a Team Lead.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Five (5) years’ experience in Epic software, domain, analysis, design, project management, or programming. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one-to-one basis or completed years of college on a one-to-one basis.
• Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis activities.
• Must understand basic Information Technology (IT) architectural/infrastructural concepts.
• Experience with CASE tools preferred.
• Must be able to prepare information for project presentations.
