RN - Utilization Management Nurse
Work Location: Richardson, TX

Job Summary/Description
InGenesis has a wonderful opportunity for an RN / Utilization Review Nurse to work with our customer located in Richardson, TX. In this role, the RN will be responsible for performing concurrent review in accordance with accepted department criteria. Our client offers a very good work environment with a beautiful campus in a great location!

Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to)
• Perform discharge planning and identifying alternate treatment programs
• Conduct episodic case management
• Consult and collaborate with providers, members, and other resources as appropriate
• Assess, plan, and implement options and services required to meet an individual’s health needs within the scope of their benefit plan.

Minimum Qualifications
*Must have an active RN license in the state of Texas
*Must have 3 years of clinical experience!
*Experience utilizing various software packages
*Verbal and written communication skills
*Analytical skills
*Computer skills - must be able to toggle through different software applications
