Registered Nurse - Corrections
Work Location: Grafton, OH

Job Summary/Description
InGenesis seeks a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care to students hospitalized in student health services unit or to inmates, juvenile offenders, or consumers housed in state-operated facility. This position will assess and record symptoms, reactions, and progress of infirmary patients and/or clinic out-patients, as well as make nursing rounds, record vitals, and administer prescribed medications. Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to)
• Monitor patients on timely basis.
• Provide immediate medical attention to emergencies.
• Assist and direct lower-level staff.
• Participate in staff development and education.
• Render all direct nursing care as needed.
• Perform clerical tasks, as needed (e.g. chart and record all medications, treatments, and pertinent medical information; complete required incident reports).

Minimum Qualifications
• Current licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio, as issued by Board of Nursing.
• Biennial renewal of licensure.
