Job Summary /Description
Reviews the medical basis for employee requests for leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act and accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act as Amended and offers opinions on their validity to the employing agencies based on their own medical knowledge.
Assist Federal agencies in reviewing the medical documentation in workers' compensation cases and any other personnel matters in which there is a medical component.
Researches medical issues that are relevant to the work of the Medical Employability Program.
Supports the medical and consultative needs for one (1) or more Federal agencies.
Performs a mixture of administrative and consultant responsibilities depending on their specific assignments Works collaboratively with other service and administrative areas to achieve desired customer outcomes.
Facilitating efforts among other service areas to ensure the customer is fully satisfied with the "agency experience."
- Graduate of an appropriate Physician Assistant Program Active license in any state
- Active CPR/AED certification
- Ability to perform comprehensive health/physical assessments
- Experience conducting medical reviews and evaluations
