Perioperative Registered Nurse
Work Location: Dallas, TX

InGenesis is currently seeking a Perioperative Registered Nurse to serve as a professional/technical subject matter person in 4-5 surgical specialties. In this role, you will utilize your critical thinking skills in planning and prioritizing intraoperative nursing care.

Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to)
• Assess/document the physiological, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual health status of patients.
• Interpret health status data to anticipate patient and physician needs.
• Develop an appropriate plan of care for the patient and the planned surgical procedure.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of interventions.
• Evaluate implemented interventions and modify care according to the evaluation.
• Supervise, direct, and coordinate the perioperative patient care assignments of other members of the healthcare team. Delegate duties appropriately and within legal parameters.
• Prepare the operating room for each surgical procedure by obtaining surgical supplies and equipment in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as necessary or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Graduate of a formal peri-operative nursing program OR documented on-the-job training.
• 1-3 years’ experience as Perioperative Nurse
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license as issued by the state of Texas.
• Current BLS certification and immunizations.
