Job Summary/Description
We are looking for a Call Center Representative with excellent customer service skills to answer incoming calls for a dental school. Must provide an exceptional screening and registration experience for patients at their initial call, receive and relay messages, and route calls to appropriate parties. If you have great customer service skills and enjoy answering phones then this position may be for you!

Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to)
• Under direct supervision, will operate a telephone console or switchboard to route incoming calls to the appropriate parties.
• Receive and relay messages and possibly operate a paging system.
• Take screening messages and respond to inquiries regarding the process to becoming a new patient.
• Responsible for screening incoming calls and answering inquires to programs, appointments, etc. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in computer applications
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
• Knowledge of call center telephony and technology
• Good data entry/typing skills and ability to input data with patient on phone
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem analysis and problem-solving skills
• Proficient at organizing work, attention to detail, good judgement, adaptable to changing environments
• High tolerance for stress and resilience with patient interactions
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred
