Job Duties:
Below is a summary of job duties required to support clinic operations including nursing/allied and support staff. Reporting to the InGenesis Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), the position requires strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with leadership and clinical teams.
- Lead the development, implementation and QA of curriculum and training programs across multiple clinics.
- Develop educational initiatives and ensure ongoing process improvement on policy, standard operating procedure, workflows, observations and demonstrate skills without providing direct patient care.
- Manage training requirements/schedules, recommend process improvements based on business intelligence/reports.
- Conduct on-site training complemented by limited remote sessions.
- Interact with healthcare professionals in a classroom and/or clinic setting.
- Develop and deliver preapproved quality improvement coaching, including clinical topics
- Utilize data to recommend topics/ training materials/ skills necessary to increase quality and ensure patient safety
- Act as a mentor to new staff, providing realistic expectations.
- Perform QA site visits to assess potential staff proficiencies, opportunities to expand training initiatives and/or incorporate advanced training methodologies
- Develop and implement continuing education programs
- Assist with policy and program development as required
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse / RN license.
- 5 years related experience in nursing education, training, and management of clinical competencies.
- 5 years of nursing management experience, either as a charge nurse, lead, or director.
- Effective communication skills (written/verbal)
- Comfortable speaking to large groups.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and support clinic staff to achieve their highest level of performance.
- Up to 40% travel within the bay area required; limited out-of-state travel may be required
- Proficient in Microsoft suite and able to learn and utilize multiple new applications required to perform the job
