Job Description


A successful and established Texas based Workforce Solutions Company is accepting applications for a full time Leaning and Development Coordinator to provide services at MD Anderson, Houston, Texas.  The position offers great opportunity to enhance and/or gain valuable work experience


Assist in all aspects of learning and development. Tasks include preparing presentations, updating and maintaining project status reports and schedules, scheduling training, locating and reserving training rooms, ordering training supplies and refreshments and any other requirement for running a training program. In addition, this role will set up courses on the LMS. Additional tasks involve, assisting developers in obtaining graphics, audio clips, etc. The L&D coordinator is responsible for maintaining existing training documents and processes.


  • Prepares and or edits PowerPoint presentations.
  • Coordinates training logistics by sending invitations, scheduling rooms and ordering refreshments, when applicable.
  • Prepares and coordinates the printing of materials for L&D functions and meetings.
  • Schedules and coordinates with audio-visual teams.
  • Maintain schedule of courses.
  • Receive and respond to request for information via phone, email, or L&D website.
  • Assist with the management of a project schedule.
  • Assists with the facilitation of project meetings.
  • Publishes content to the LMS.
  • Develop and maintain issues log.
  • Facilitate client meetings.
  • Research graphics and or content for training curriculum.
  • Maintain the L&D website.
  • Monitor the TRC and HR Training mailbox.
  • Run monthly NEO compliance reports.
  • Enroll new hires in appropriate online NEO courses.
  • Manage training room calendar.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor's degree
  • Three years of directly related experience
  • Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently and/or up to 10 pounds frequently to move objects.​
