We are currently seeking a Communications Lead Installer to provide their expertise in a small team academic setting.
We are seeking someone with knowledge of data communication cable termination techniques to serve on a small team converting existing 110 block terminations to RJ45 patch panels in a live campus network environment.

Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to)
• Perform work necessary to convert existing cable terminations from 110 block to RJ45 patch panel
• Document patch panels and connections to network equipment
• Provide regular progress updates to Lead Communications Installer
• Serve as technical lead of a small team of personnel
• Responsible for training team members
• Supervise and assign work
• QA of work performed
• Track use rate of materials
• Provide project status updates regularly
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
• Experience serving in a lead technical role assigning work to members of a small team
• Minimum of three (3) years directly related work experience in a large-scale facility environment
• One (1) year or less directly related work experience.
• Knowledge of communications cabling termination techniques
• Familiarity with network equipment cabling interconnects and documentation
