GaPDS User Support Representative
Work Location: Atlanta, GA

Job Summary/Description
Under the supervision of the Georgia Professional Development System Coordinator, provides customer service and technical support to teachers, directors, and trainers who need assistance in utilizing the Georgia Professional Development System (GaPDS). As needed, provides administrative and logistical support for DECAL’s Professional Learning Unit. The length of assignment: Duration is indefinite with potential for full time employment transition.

Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to)
• Provide user support via telephone, remote connection and email for providers, teachers, and trainers and scheduled trainings
• Exhibit professional courtesy for and provide timely support to users
• Adhere to User Support Team schedules for start/end times and breaks, ensuring continuous availability to users during business hours
• Serve as liaison with all divisions
• Using provided system, keep accurate and detailed records of calls and emails (e.g., types of support provided, caller roles and information, common questions); as requested, provide reports to leadership on call/email volume
• Maintain a running list of FAQs to aid in user support and to inform updates
• Empower users to become comfortable by providing support
• As needed, prepare and modify documents, such as reports, correspondence, spreadsheets, letters, and memos
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED AND
• Completion of 90 quarter hours (60 semester hours) at an accredited college or university OR
• One year of experience in a customer service setting communicating information OR
• One year of experience required at the lower level Customer Svc Rep 1 (GST120) or position equivalent
