Financial Analyst/Pricing- Competitive Pay and Excellent Benefits!

 

 

Job Description:

The employee will provide proposal pricing support for bids and task orders, and be responsible for tracking and maintaining contracts and contract modifications for federal, state and commercial contracts. The employee will be responsible for analyzing RFPs, and Broad Agency Announcements (BAAs), researching and evaluating data, and developing cost and pricing strategies, proposals and supporting documentation. The employee will be an integral part of proposal teams and interact with management on pricing strategies. 

 

Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Review and analyze RFPs and BAAs for the purposes of supporting the pricing process and understand contracts for purposes of providing ongoing contract maintenance.

  • Coordinate price and cost information with subcontractors, including pricing instructions, as required for timely submission of proposals.

  • Develop and prepare pricing proposals with appropriate supporting data and documentation.

  • Present fully developed pricing proposals to management.

  • Process contract modifications, including pricing adjustments, and coordinate with Operations.

  • Track and update operational benchmarks to ensure accurate future pricing.

  • Work closely with and support Finance, Operations and Legal throughout the bid process and contract administration.

  • Support audits and participate in cost proposal clarifications and negotiations.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field required

  •  2-5 years experience in a similar role

  • Experience in a retail pricing environment is a plus

  • Experience coordinating the efforts of cross-functional teams

  • Proficiency in MS Office and Excel

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Strong research and analytical skills

  • Initiative and proven ability to meet deadlines, including working extended hours to meet deadlines

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a fast paced environment

  • Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and work assignments; must be able to multi-task
