POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Systems Manager will provide leadership and support in all aspects to deliver successful platform implementations by providing subject matter expertise on Vendor Management Systems, CRM and HR focused applications.  Work with Implementations Director to achieve maximum client satisfaction and process excellence throughout Implementation lifecycle.

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of four years staffing industry experience, MSP experience preferred
  • Demonstrated managerial experience
  • VMS applications expertise in Fieldglass, PeopleFluent or comparable system
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
  • Demonstrated ability to assess customers’ needs and translate business requirements to configuration
  • Self-motivated and directed to work within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial corporate culture and adhere to the standards and work ethic consistent with that environment
  • Willingness and aptitude to learn unfamiliar systems, and to stay informed of new technologies

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide direction and leadership to ensure professional platform delivery
  • Work with assigned team members to present VMS system best practices
  • Advise external clients and internal staff on best practices for implementing applications and software
  • Problem solve and communicate conceptual information to all levels of internal and external management in a clear, concise, and well-organized fashion
  • Provide input to facilitate improvement of tools and templates for configuration management; ensure tools and templates are utilized and kept current
  • Support sales efforts by staging and conducting system demonstrations for potential clients
  • Lead or participate in business requirements gathering sessions and design workshops with client
  • Engage with customer to format, collect and reconcile gaps in data including user, cost center, supplier, worker, rate cards, job descriptions, worksites, and approval hierarchy
  • Ensure client configuration and business requirement documents are accurate, complete and signed off by client
  • Configure test and production environments and actively participate in user acceptance testing
  • Act as the client point of contact for configuration queries during implementation
  • Support client implementation life cycle from start to finish in a structured and professional matter
  • Manage assigned work stream duties in the delivery of VMS and MSP implementations
  • Provide first-level point of integration and escalation support for client engagements to ensure all team members are aligned in their deployment efforts
  • Provide client support of post implementation system needs
  • Deliver exceptional service orientation and follow-up through excellent written and oral communication skills and extraordinary attention to detail
  • Other duties may be assigned
