Business Systems Analyst
Work Location: Houston, TX

Job Summary/Description
This position is responsible for participating in the gathering and documenting functional, and integration and testing requirements in order to design, develop, test, various epic applications supporting upgrade and interface system interactions. This position will also be responsible for working on process improvement for test scripts and processes.

Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to)
• Able to independently gather and document testing script and tracker refinements. Provide expertise in complex system integration testing, quality review and issue resolution activities.
• Provides business analysis leadership for testing initiatives.
• Performs and/or assists in activities related to the assessment, implementation, and support of testing related data integration activities.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned by project manager, Testing Coordinator and/or manager. Process improvement, documentation, templates, participate in workgroups etc.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree.
• Three (3) years’ experience with Epic software, business, testing and systems analysis. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis or completed years of college on a one to one basis.
• Prefer experience in Epic application usage, especially Prelude/Grand Central, Cadence, Ambulatory, Inpatient and Orders.
• Training background useful and preferred.
• Prefer three (3) years of equivalent scope and role in healthcare applications (hospitals)
• Prefer experience working in and a well-rounded knowledge of the electronic medical record IT environment.
• Prefer experience with application testing (preparation, execution), team coordination
