Reporting to the Senior Merchandising and Promotions Manager, this position will be responsible for developing the strategy, vision, and will own the marketing roadmap for IMVU's subscription business lines.

You will work closely with Product Management and Design in preparing product and business requirements to build and test customer facing materials. You will be responsible for collaborating with User Acquisition, Marketing and Customer Support for the customer facing elements.

This role requires the ability to develop the business cases upon a deep understanding of key customer segments within the IMVU user community. The ability to engage with cross-functional stakeholders to solicit requirements, incorporate feedback, and present program results is critical. A mindset of research, quantitative and qualitative, is certainly helpful for success. Additionally, engaging with the product development team to manage the go-to-market of new features and functionality is a requirement.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage, develop, and grow subscription programs for IMVU with Merchandising, Growth, Marketing and Product Teams

  • Identify new opportunities, seasonal or functionality, to grow subscribership and engage current subscribers

  • Execute projects that sustain, grow, and engage subscribers in a timely manner

  • Implement, track, and maintain all analytics related to subscribership programs

  • Delight users with new IMVU products and support for subscribers

  • Create seasonal and trendy catalog products for new and current subscribers

  • Design and develop in-house ad campaign with the Merchandising Team

  • Manage in-house campaign ads to generate subscribership and subscriber purchases



Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience in similar field

  • Familiarity with ecommerce concepts

  • Experienced in managing and developing subscription programs for social and gaming apps

  • Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging with executive management

  • Strong understanding of user acquisition, retention, and monetization with subscription apps

  • Solid communication and presentation skills for delivering presentations at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to distill qualitative and quantitative data and tell a “story”

  • Comfortable working with mature content and themes
