Redwood City, CA

IMVU is expanding its immersive 3D social gaming platform and seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the charge. This role is critical to helping to expand upon IMVU's current product offerings including developing and growing a service economy. This role will be working closely with many different internal and external stakeholders to act as a collaborative conduit between them. A clear understanding of the IMVU user-base is imperative and being able to accurately communicate their needs and challenges internally will play a major part of this Senior Product Manager’s success. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead cross-functional teams to launch features that drive business results.

  • Internalize customer needs and use that knowledge to collaborate with other teams like Engineering, Product Design to develop fun and delightful experiences.

  • Develop clear and compelling product requirements/user stories for new initiatives as well as existing product enhancements, including business justification, success criteria, revenue potential, and operational impact.

  • Work closely with internal business leads and teams to execute on the product roadmap based on opportunity, business and customer impact.

  • Analyze data and perform user research to form and test hypotheses in the pursuit of building a deep understanding of our customers’ needs and behaviors

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in online Product management roles in profitable, high-traffic consumer Internet services, game companies, or fast-growing internet startups.

  • Results-oriented ability to get things done in a fluid start-up environment with limited resources.

  • Ability to move fluidly between high-level strategic thinking and take-charge management of day-to-day details

  • Extremely strong written & verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical colleagues and customers

  • Previous experience with mobile, social games or platforms a plus

  • Previous experience with developing service economies or community building a plus

  • Previous experience with cryptocurrency or eCurrency a plus
