We're looking for a bright, passionate, and talented person to join our tight-knit team as we make a massive impact in a profitable company. The ideal candidate is both creative and analytical, has positive energy, and is naturally curious. The position is 40 hours a week for six months with the possibility of transitioning to full time.

Title: Digital Merchandising Subscription Intern 

About our Program

During the internship program, you will support user research efforts, execute sales tactics and create content to improve sales execution and drive revenue. Through these actions you’ll enhance your skills in communication, collaboration, self-management, critical thinking, and research. You won’t be alone in the role. Leadership and management is there to support you in your growth and your responsibilities.

As a result, you'll touch the online lives of 9 million-plus users a month with over 40 million user-generated goods. You'll be helping to build the foundation of a revenue-generating machine and delight our community of users. IMVU's mission is to spread the power of friendship.   • Create, launch, and test in-app revenue impacting promotions

  • Assist with developing in-game assets for IMVU mobile

  • Generate copy and edit promotional messages for subscription business lines 

  • Collaborate with the design team in prioritizing, planning, and executing subscription revenue projects

  • Assist with mobile promotions including weekly global sales and strategic localized campaigns

  • Coordinate research processes, such as user interviews, data gathering, and transcriptions, to ensure quality goals and objectives are met

  • Tabulate research results and design final research presentation

  • Develop co-branded ads and promotions for IMVU’s Creator community


  • High level of organization and attention to detail

  • Ability to spot emerging trends

  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Understanding of essential business and marketing concepts

  • Comfortable with spreadsheets and a whole lot of data

  • Demonstrates passion and also willingness to learn things and think critically

  • Be self-motivated and work independently in a team-oriented environment

  • Ability to communicate, effectively, and professionally (written and oral)

  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a demanding environment

  • Working knowledge of Mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and GSuite

  • Strong customer service skills, including the ability to remain flexible and calm in high pressure or continually changing situations

Bonus points:

  • A college degree or equivalent industry experience

  • Passion for creative writing (e.g. social media posts, blogs, email marketing, etc)

  • Basic experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) and HTML
