IMVU is looking for a full-time Digital Account Manager in our Redwood City office to support the Sales Team in meeting their objectives and provide a high level of customer service to our clients. The right candidate will work hand and hand with the sales organization to build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients and agencies. Ideal candidate must have experience in digital advertising, and be able to translate client goals and objectives into effective online advertising experiences. The role will be responsible for managing campaigns through the full Sales cycle - from RFP response to post-IO execution.

Responsibilities

As an Account Manager for IMVU you partner with Sales and other internal teams to develop creative and strategic media plans and RFP responses that meet advertiser KPIs including pricing, targeting and inventory needs

  • Own operational processes for assigned accounts in their entirety (managing the kick-off call, campaign implementation, strategizing, reconciliation, performance optimization and evaluation)

  • Directly communicate with clients to determine goals, create parameters and set appropriate expectations

  • Attend client meetings to understand partner goals and objectives and present new business opportunities

  • Participate in internal brainstorming sessions

  • Provide regular account updates, performance notes and consistent reporting to clients and internal sales staff

  • Work in tandem with Trafficking & Optimization teams to ensure campaigns are set up successfully and performing their best

  • Work with all internal departments on the development and implementation of campaigns

  • Monitor and report campaign performance to ensure delivery and billing

  • Present campaign results via Excel and PowerPoint presentations

  • Work with Product, Design, Infra, and other in-house teams to troubleshoot legacy compatibility issues

  • Facilitate technical integrations between new ad partners and IMVU developers

  • Initiate, Optimize, Troubleshoot and QA all ad campaigns

  • Summarize, Report-On, and Forecast revenue and activity trends from all ad partners and placements

  • Attend select industry events and in person meetings with major ad partners

  • Understand IMVU’s core audience and curate campaigns that resonate best

  • Collaborate with marketing and promotions team to organize timely promotions

  • Adapt to changing market/industry standards to maintain the relevance of IMVU’s ad placements

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in media planning or client service role at an ad network, advertising agency or large publisher required

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work with broad range of internal and external clients

  • Understanding of cross channel media and rich media formats and video including MRAID, VAST, VPAID

  • Experience working with viewability & verification vendors such as IAS, DoubleVerify, MOAT

  • Digital media industry experience

  • Strong computer skills especially in Excel and PowerPoint

  • A strong ability to perform independently while working in a team environment

  • Proactive, energetic and have excellent follow through skills

  • Willing to work in a fast paced, start-up environment
