Description: Under the direction of the IT Manager, the IT Intern will gain hands-on experience by contributing to various teams, including the Help Desk, Data Migration and Cloud Hosting, DevOps, and Project Management teams. This role will assist with a variety of tasks, providing exposure to multiple aspects of IT operations and project workflows. Offering a unique opportunity to build foundational skills, collaborate with experienced professionals, and gain valuable industry knowledge.\

This is an internship that will be onsite 5 days a week with occasional flexibility for remote days

What You'll Do:

• Provide first-line assistance to the Help Desk team by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist onsite with hardware setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and provide support for any IT-related tasks as needed.
• Gain exposure to data migration tasks, including data analysis, preparation, and transfer to cloud-hosted environments.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to support infrastructure automation, deployment, and monitoring activities.
• Contribute to IT-related project management tasks, such as documentation, meeting coordination, and progress tracking.
• Participate in the setup and configuration of systems or tools as needed by different IT teams.
• Research and document IT processes, tools, and best practices to support team efficiency.
• Perform additional duties or tasks assigned.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Familiarity with basic IT concepts, such as troubleshooting, system configurations, and cloud computing principles.
• Displays strong abilities to learn new technologies and acquire new skills through independent study, professional training and senior team members
• Ability to maintain discretion when handling proprietary and confidential information.
• Enthusiasm for learning and expanding knowledge or skills across multiple IT disciplines.
• Strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, collaboration, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work in person on a full-time basis as required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar productivity tools

Position Pay Rate: The hourly rate for this role is $20.00/hour. Interns will be scheduled for 40-hour work weeks during the Summer Program and are eligible for Holiday Pay and Sick Days.
