Job Description:

The primary responsibilities of this position are to perform a disciplined system engineering approach to system requirements within ballistic missile defense. The Systems Engineers will work towards future capabilities such as sensor management, tasking, cueing, and discrimination architectures. Engineers will participate in developing, executing, and analyzing the results of various tests as needed.  Candidates must understand system engineering, systems design and development, analyze the level of needs through a structured and logical approach, and refine the needs into an integrated set of requirements. The engineer must be skilled in identification and definition of desired capabilities, fielding of new capabilities, system definitions, and integration practices and methods.  Must be able to communicate the desired capabilities to a diverse group of developers, engineers, subject matter experts, and users. The engineers will need to be able to effectively present and communicate technical approach, results, and implementation of engineering plans.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math, Science, or related engineering degree
  • 3+ years of professional experience
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Battle Management CONOPS
  • Full life cycle software engineering experience
  • Windows/Unix Operating Systems
  • Matlab, Excel, S-code, Java
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Active Top Secret Clearance
