The primary responsibilities of this position is to perform case development and prepare systems engineering artifacts. This includes defining Epics and Features to implement customer requested capabilities, support the development and review of interface documents, system requirements, Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM) development, architectural documentation, system engineering estimates, and author and perform formal and informal engineering reviews. The candidate needs to have the ability to be flexible to support various tasking on short notice. The systems engineers will define the relationships between internal and external components; communicating level use cases and associated Epics and Feature relationships to a diverse group of customers, developers, engineer, subject matter experts, and users. Engineers will work under the direction of various technical leads and product owners, and will require interfacing with team members, management, and government customers to ensure high quality products are generated on time and within the resources available.
- Bachelors Degree in an engineering discipline
- 5+ years’ professional experience or Master’s Degree and 3+ years of experience may be substituted
- DOORS, MBSE, SysML
- Active Secret Clearance
- Must be a US Citizen
- Full life cycle software engineering experience
- Cybersecurity, Risk Management Framework, and network design
- Experience in Agile environment
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Some travel required
