Program Manager

At IERUS, we are constantly looking for leaders within our organization who have the aptitude and willingness to take on management responsibilities. We invite anyone who is interested in Program Management to discuss options and opportunities to learn how to manage a program. In addition, we have created an internal application to keep a running list of those who have an interest in becoming a PM for when we have a PM Role available.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Manages the technical and financial aspects of a particular project or contract, ensuring technical obligations are met within schedule and budget
2. Ensures program staff are adequately trained for program execution
3. Manages the customer relationship with regard to a particular project or contract
4. Develops and maintains the execution plan for a given project and reports progress to the Department Lead and relevant stakeholders on a periodic basis
   1. Identifies staffing needs
   2. Develops and maintains schedules and budgets for a given project and/or contract, including estimates to completion (responsible for on-time/in-budget)
5. Coordinates with VPBD and Division Lead to identify and exploit opportunities for growth within project and/or customer
6. Works with the Department Lead Engineer to ensure IERUS standards of technical excellence are maintained
7. Develops and maintains schedules and budgets for a given project and/or contract, including estimates to completion (responsible for on-time/in-budget)
8. Works with Head of Contracts to ensure the contracts reflect the work being performed
9. Other tasks as delineated by the ICM

Minimum Preferred Educational and Experience:

• BS degree in Engineering or related field
• 2+ years of professional technical experience
• In lieu of BS in Engineering, plus 6+ years of experience in performing technical program management for DoD programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Engineering and technical management experience in the defense industry
• Proven capabilities in team facilitation and development
