Description:
The Software Application Test Engineer as a member of the Regional Applications Agile Release Train (ART) of the Missile Defense National Team for Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) (aka C2BMC NT) will participate in software design and peer reviews. They will also develop test specifications, infrastructure, and execute manual and automated test analysis of C2BMC implementation in an integrated environment or to test specific capabilities for interfaces or infrastructure. Support of operations (e.g., Internal Messaging, control and monitoring, message and display recording and playback, failover processing).
Responsibilities will also include the coordination of lab resources, test results, and verification status with the C2BMC program and customers.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or Computer Science. Significant professional experience can be used in lieu of degree;
· Master's degree is highly desired;
· 2+ plus years of professional experience;
· Knowledge of an Agile development process;
· Automated testing for requirement verification and performance assessment Requirement and verification analysis;
· Conducting post-processing and analysis of collected data;
· Development of action plans based upon analysis of data;
· Documenting software deficiency reports;
· Presenting analysis results and plans of action orally and/or in written format (e.g., slides, annotated slides, test report document);
· Must possess strong verbal/written communication skills;
· Experience in a DevSecOps environment;
· Active Security+ certification desired;
· Active DOD Secret Clearance, and must be a US Citizen.
Location:
Huntsville, AL/Occasional travel to Colorado Springs will be required
