Description:

This is an opportunity to join the IERUS team as a DevSecOps Software Engineer supporting multiple programs.

The primary responsibilities of this position include assisting in the system administration of multiple environments, software development and deployment, troubleshooting, and automation in a DevSecOps environment. Additional responsibilities include designing, developing, and supporting software solutions integrating COTS, GOTS, and developed software, propose system administration process improvement to reduce overall maintenance requirements by working with the design team and manufacturer, determine systems requirements, input/output processes, working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system configuration. Positions available ranging from junior DevSecOps Software engineers to senior DevSecOps Software engineers.

As a member of the Information Technology and Security (IT/IS) team, you will be responsible for providing direct support to the many IERUS programs as both a subject matter expert (SME) and operational security analyst for both hardware and software deployment and development. You will work with program team members, software developers, and IT/IS staff to ensure that program needs are being met while maintaining operational security and compliance with government regulations and corporate policies. You will work with program and IT/IS personnel to document implemented solutions and help to monitor and ensure IERUS infrastructure maintains compliance with all internal policies and regulatory controls.

Required Qualifications:

· Must be a US citizen;

· Active Secret Clearance;

· B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, technical discipline or equivalent experience;

· 3+ years of experience in DevSecOps, system administration, or a related field;

· Experience with Linux or Windows system administration, configuration, and deployment;

· Excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills, including the ability to distil and capture potentially complicated scenarios and technical solutions;

· Proven ability to document solutions in a clear and concise manner;

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; and

· Excellent teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

· CompTIA Security+ CE (or equivalent) DoD 8 570.01-M IAT Level II Certification;

· Scripting skills in languages such as bash or PowerShell - Experience with automation;

· Knowledge of DevSecOps principles;

· Experience with Ansible Automation Platform, including Ansible Tower;

· Experience with HashiCorp Packer and Vault;

· Experience with Gitlab CI/CD, Bitbucket, Jenkins;

· Experience with Nexus, Jfrog Artifactory, OpenShift/Kubernetes;

· Experience in JIRA modification including workflow development;

· Experience with a CI/CD testing framework like Xray/Cucumber;

· Experience with a CI/CD code scanning framework like SonarCube/Checkmarx;

· Experience in virtualization technology, including, but not limited to, VMware;

· Knowledge of and experience in software development using one or more languages;

· Experience in one or more front-end development frameworks (Cesium, React, Angular, JavaFX, etc.);

· Experience in one or more back-end data storage frameworks (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.);

· Experience in one or more hard programming languages (Java/C/C++, etc.);

· Experience using Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) and Static Application Security Testing (SAST) tools;

· Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP); and

· Experience with the evaluation and testing of Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) and custom software for security and operational vulnerabilities.
