This position provides critical cyber-security administration of the software development and the laboratory environment supporting the Ballistic Missile Defense System. The analyst will be charged with the management of vulnerabilities within identified systems to include development and testing of patches in systems such as Windows and RHEL, interfacing and collaborating with Security Officers, Cyber Engineers, and System Administrators. Tasks are to include but not limited to configuration and installation of Linux and Windows, GPOs and STIGs, and development of test plans and procedures for software integration and test. Continuous administrative duties will consist of analysis of Assured Compliance Assessment Solutions (ACAS), security of the network, Cyber Task Orders (CTO), updating software/firmware on servers and workstations, and collaborating with developers and vendors as needed to diagnose and identify the root cause of problems.
- Bachelor Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent years experience.
- 5 years of experience or 3 years of professional experience with related Master’s degree
- DOD 8570 IAT II Certification
- Experience with Linux and Windows Installation and configuration
- Experience with applying Information Assurance (Risk Management Framework) policies and procedures
- Active Secret Clearance
- Must be a US Citizen
- Experience with Assured Compliance, GPO and STIG
- Utilization of cyber management tools (ACAS, HBSS, ArcSight, Splunk)
- Battle management software experience
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Active Top Secret Clearance
