Description:

This is an opportunity to join the IERUS team as an ACEOPS Administrator supporting a large Missile Defense Agency program.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience and be responsible for, but not limited to; operating, maintaining, and managing Linux-based systems supporting a software development environment; overall day-to-day operations of the Windows/Linux environment and backup and recovery (including disaster recovery) of system data; recommending system enhancements, including but not limited to servers, applications, storage, processes, and procedures; and more.

Required Qualifications:

  • B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in an engineering discipline; Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Possess at least an active Secret security clearance.
  • Must have technical skills supporting a varied and diverse environment, including enterprise server setup, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Understanding of configuration managed Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS).
  • Understanding of what IT/s role is in Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) and how it can be applied to PaaS.
  • Knowledge of the Linux environment and experience with Linux administration.
  • System Security Implementations.
  • Linux shell scripting.
  • Ansible playbook development and management or other competing automation solutions.
  • Security-Enhanced (SE) Linux and Red Hat repository administration.
  • Experience applying containers (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Experience with system hardening using industry best practices.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
  • Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).
  • Multi-factor authentication implementation like IPA and ADFS.
  • OpenShift and OpenStack.
  • VMware ESXI. Nutanix.
  • QAS/VAS.
  • Windows Active Directory.
  • Backup and Recovery technologies.
  • Containers and Container Orchestration products.
  • Knowledge of Git, Nexus, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Understand the concept of PaaS and SaaS.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery and how it applies to IT and IT products.

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

The proposed salary range for this position is $77.9k - $132k. Salaries are commensurate with candidate experience and qualifications within the experience bandwidth, as well as market and business considerations.
