POSITION PURPOSE
We are looking to hire an experienced System Engineer to implement and maintain OS Platforms, Patch management, and tool administration. As a Senior Systems engineer, you will be responsible for installing Windows or Linux OS, troubleshooting issues, maintaining security, global patch management, Tool administration, and training end-users. To ensure success, you should have extensive experience with Operating systems, Patch management, Tool Administration, Reporting, good communication skills, and experience with end-user training. should be able to deploy and maintain a scalable and secure platform that perfectly meets our needs. You will also be required to participate in solution reviews for your peer’s work, triage and solve live customer issues, and participate in all day-to-day operational activities. Additionally, you will monitor, measure, and improve performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Installation and configuration of Windows or Linux-based server operating systems
Good experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft 365
Managing Linux-based servers
Patch Management: Experience in the Ivanti patch management tool, reporting, and Tool administration
Managing DHCP, DNS and Active Directory
Basic troubleshooting of networking (LAN, WAN), basic installation, and configuration
Configuring and Troubleshooting network printers, scanners, and Local printers at the L1 level
Resolving tickets within the SLA that are raised from the User side through floor support, remote support, and Call support
Installation and support of all meeting rooms and the video conference system
Maintain accurate and updated IT Asset Management inventory to keep track of the
equipment.Follow the IT Security policies.
Provide L2 support for the technical problems faced by the users inside the premises.
Liaise with vendors to solve the issues in IT infrastructure, if any.
Plan to execute periodic maintenance of the IT hardware.
Provide Routine monitoring and proactive solutions.
Keep all documents updated and in the repository.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
5 to 8 years’ experience in a similar support role
Any bachelor’s degree or diploma (without any backlogs)
Good verbal and written communication skills.
